Dotgov Supplies and Services is the trading name of Public Sector E-Procurement Ltd
Dotgov have since 2003 managed a database of sme’s who would like to service the £250bn marketplace created by local authority procurement.
All participating companies have their details entered into the Dotgov procurement portal with a page of their own that allows them to enter details about the services that they can provide, along with two photographs and their company logo if they have one!
Once registered, businesses will receive email alerts advising them about up coming tenders within the public sector, including contact details and full information to enable them to enter their “bid”
Gordon Brown as Chancellor began the reformation of local authority procurement encouraging procurement Officers to use sme’s when possible and has continued to drive home opportunities for sme’s as Prime Minister.
